Christmas Holiday.

Most of us spend the holiday’s with our families and I was no different. I drove down to Raleigh NC to hang out with my parents, brother and his family. During that time I got to hang out with my nephew Alex. I decided to show him what you can do with a camera, a flashlight and the night sky. So here are some of the photos we did during that warm NC Christmas night. Check out some more photos at my Tumblur site.

Steven Powers "A Love Letter To Brooklyn"

This is a project I get to work on for Vice.tv late this summer. I haven't been shooting for Vice very long but the projects that I get to do with them are so amazing. Steven Powers is someone I remember hearing about when I was younger but never new his story. I got to hear from his lips about when he was ESPO and the story behind the Water Torture side show attraction at Coney Island. Working on the Art Talk series is so much fun to do and I get to be around people creating amazing things. I'm so lucky to be able to do it.

As of now I've moved to NYC and have broadend my horizons to not only shoot photography but working in video as a First Assistan Camera. Now since I have been in New York I"ve been able to work on some amazing projects. One of them has been The Creators Project. An amazing gathering of music and art set in an amazing location In the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge. I was lucky enough to be one of the camera operators for The Archway Stage shows. Tanner

Just some great shots I took of my friend Tanner a while ago. He was wonderful to shoot. He's very outgoing and up for anything. Even though in these shots I was able to get a quiet humble Tanner. I hate I missed seeing him while he was visiting from San Francisco.

Not only do I do photography but I all so do some work in video. I do a lot of Camera Assisting for Mark Wagoner Productions in Greensboro NC. This winter he asked if I wanted to do something we haven't done before a music video. I said absolutely. This was for the band Irata a local Greensboro band. We all had a very long and cold night mostly in the woods but I would do it again. We had a blast. Let me know what you think. I am told by Grisson and Kevin over at Onramp that this is a rough cut so the final is coming.

The Halloween Project

Halloween seems to always sneak up on me. I want to get dressed up in a clever costume and go to a party where I'm amazed by how far people go with there costume. I missed it again so I decided to make the best of it. Jonny (my fiancee) and I went to her best friend Trisha's house to give out candy. I figured why not bring my camera and my lights and see if I could get some volunteers to let me take there picture. I got the volunteers and it made for some great pictures. I think I might just skip the party next year and torment the neighbor kids for some more photos.

The Fast Paced Life Of A Salon.

I was asked again by the Jade Aveda Salon to do some more photography. This time I was asked to shoot a little more from the hip, to show how lively fun and vibrant the shop is. I love getting work like this it lets me show off the type of photos I like to produce. I had a good time doing this shoot and Everyone at the salon is amazing.

Ok so the 2 bedrooms upstairs are green. One Dark and one light green and we painted the floor and it looked so good I had to shoot some people in the room. They came out nice and the floor looks good.

Greensboro Bats

They changed there name to the Grasshoppers but this is from an add I was in. The story goes, I was working with a photographer shooting new ads for the Bats baseball team. So we were waiting around for a model to show up and the photographer turned around and pointed the camera at me. I struck the pose like everyone had been doing all day "yelling and screaming for the team" he shot one picture. The client saw the 1 photo and loved it. I guess I look more like a baseball fan than the guy they picked. Thats cool with me. They ended putting this up on a couple of billboards in town. Talk about having a big head.

This is a project that Eric Peterson did with a printer Christmas this past year. He mailed out these costers with the 12 days of Christmas on them to his clients. They are so killer the papers really thick and nice. They are totally my kinda of style. They should be this is the guy that did my Business card. These are some photos of Bonnaroo a music festival in Manchester Tenn. 4 days of sun, great music, camping, port-a-johns and 80,000 of your closest friends. We had such a good time. On this day at this one stage we saw, Elvis Costello , Beck and Radio Head. How cool is that.

This is my Nephew Alex. He's a decent bowler for his age. He likes to study the ball as it rolls down the ally. He's working out his strategy.

These are from the Trip to the Aquarium in Myrtle. This is Ben Under the Rainbow.

If you've never seen these they are Horseshoe Crabs. They are all over the northern cost of Long Island. I don't know what the things in the tank are.

On the work trip out west I got to spend about 18 hours in Austin. Some how managed to see an old friend from high school and get a meal in at Chuy's a Tex Mex place. I got the the brown and yellow covered with green. There may be chicken in there too.

This is Robert, he had cancer and it was removed by the new Divinci Procedure at Mission Hospital. 4 holes in his stomach a couple days of recovery. Thats amazing. Really nice guy too. Don't let the serious photo scare you.

Work Trip out West.

So this is from a work trip I did out west. I had to shoot pictures of particular employees that worked for a bank. Also shoot some stuff of the city's I was in. I traveled to Austin TX, Sacramento CA and Seattle WA. I really enjoyed Seattle and here are a couple of shots from that leg of the tour.
